Principal and founder Louis Shell has over thirteen years of practical experience in the fields of structural engineering and architecture. He is knowledgeable in the design and construction of a diverse range of building types and structural systems, ranging from small, award-winning residential additions to multi-million dollar research facilities.

Mr. Shell currently serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Illinois Institute of Technology's College of Architecture and has served as guest critic and facilitator at the University of Illinois at Chicago's School of Architecture as well as the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Mr. Shell possesses a BS in Civil Engineering degree from Iowa State University and a MArch degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is currently licensed as a Structural Engineer in the states of Illinois, Iowa, Michigan and Wisconsin.
